BLADES ON ONE AND TWO SIDES ANGLED
Low carbon wear steel blades with boron, manganese, molybdenum and nickel additives to optimize mechanical properties while making welding and machining easier. High wear resistance is the result of a properly selected chemical composition combined with deep hardening of the steel (except for the hardness of 250HB). Blades with a hardness of 500HB are hardened over the entire surface, including bevels, which guarantees maximum durability during operation.
250 HB MEDIUM BLADES
An easy-to-work steel, suitable for post-heat treatment and light wear applications.
Chemical composition:
C – max 0.28% (carbon), Si – max 0.35% (silicon), Mn – max 1.40% (manganese), P – max 0.03%
(phosphorus), S – max 0.03% (sulfur), Cr – max 0.50% (chromium), Ni – max 0.30% (nickel), Mo – max
0.25% (molybdenum), B – max 0.004% (boron).
Approximate mechanical properties:
Tensile strength – (Rm): 730N/mm2 – 106000psi
Yield strength – (Re): 510N/mm2 – 74000psi
Elongation – (A5): 17%
500 HB MEDIUM BLADES
Hardened and tempered steel suitable for extreme and particularly heavy wear applications.
